The University library is the largest learning and working place of the Campus Bielefeld. The library is divided into different areas: Quiet zones for concentrated quiet work, discussion rooms, computer workstations, learning places and reading corners. The library has several book scanners that can be used free of charge and without barriers. The devices are located on height-adjustable tables, and the scanning process can be started by pressing a button or using a foot pedal. The font on the corresponding monitor can be enlarged using a touchscreen.
