Study programmes with international alignment

Study programmes with the option of achieving an international double degree. Study programmes are international cooperation programmes that can be studied in the scope of a degree programme. A double degree or a joint degree can be acquired in this context: The students will complete part of their studies at Bielefeld University and another part at one or several partner universities.

To the double degree programmes

The subjects of “German as a Foreign and Second Language” and “German as a second language and German studies” prepare for working in an international environment. The same language prerequisites as for any other degree programme in the German language apply here.

Master courses in English can only be studied completely in the English language. These degree programmes do not exist in the German language.

Further information

International Track means that the curriculum of this degree programme can be studied entirely in German or entirely in English within the standard period of study. The required language skills to gain access to the degree programme in question can also be found in the subject-specific regulations. Under certain circumstances, certain profiles or compulsory optional modules must be studied in order to complete the International Track; this may limit the study options available. Further information can be obtained from the counselling offices of the Faculties.
