Employees at Bielefeld University are also involved in various projects within the NEOLAiA university alliance.
The alliance is supported on multiple levels in the measures "COIL teaching programmes", "Digital student data portability" and "Strengthening reputation".
As part of this initiative, topic-specific COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning) courses are developed and designed to be accessible for all participants. Instructors receive support in planning and implementing digital teaching formats that promote international collaboration and intercultural exchange among students.
The courses are aimed at students and instructors at Bielefeld University, as well as mobility participants within the NEOLAiA Network, including individuals with disabilities.
The Digital Student Data Portability initiative aims to simplify the exchange and academic recognition of study achievements between the partner universities of the NEOLAiA Network. To achieve this, the prerequisites for academic recognition are reviewed, target processes are developed, and coordinated with the partners. After implementation in internal systems, continuous process monitoring ensures quality and transparency.
The “Strengthening Reputation” initiative focuses on developing targeted communication measures to enhance the visibility and perception of Bielefeld University and the NEOLAiA Network. This includes establishing information and exchange channels for specific target groups, keeping stakeholders informed, and preparing project outcomes to support outreach and partnership activities.
