A01 untersucht die Rolle von Analogie in der Bildung neuer, kreativer morphologischer Formen und syntaktischer Strukturen innerhalb einzelner Sprachen und im Sprachvergleich. A01 konzentriert sich auf die Hypothese, dass bestehende grammatische Strukturen dazu führen können, dass neue, strukturell ähnliche Ausdrücke in bestimmten Kontexten als wohlgeformt akzeptiert werden, auch wenn sie in der Sprachgemeinschaft nicht als grammatisch gelten. Wir untersuchen diese Hypothese experimentell für Kongruenz (long-distance agreement) im Ungarischen sowie Einbettungsstrukturen im Deutschen und anderen Sprachen.
