  • If you receive funding retroactively from another source (e.g. BAföG or other scholarships), you must inform the respective source about the receipt of the NRWege scholarship in order to avoid double payment and thus a necessary reclaim of the scholarship by the International Office.
  • Additional income is possible (e.g. child benefit, mini-job) as long as it does not exceed the maximum limit of EUR 1,595 together with the full scholarship (EUR 1,000), i.e. if you receive the full scholarship, the allowance is EUR 595, which you may also receive from other activities/benefits.

The following proof and help desks are required for the first application for a full scholarship via the online form:

  • Certificate of enrolment (or proof of application for a degree programme)
  • Proof of residence status
  • Letter of motivation
  • Transcript of Records (current transcript of records with grade point average), or at course start: German certificate with grade
