Juan José Vélez

Juan José Vélez from Puerto Rico not only holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy but is also an experienced percussionist in several Latin band projects. He lives in Bremen, Germany where he regularly plays the congas for "Zona Franca", "Cacino", and "Buena Gente", which feature Salsa, Latin Jazz, Bomba, Plena, Mambo, Cumbia and other styles of música afrocaribeña.
