Jewish Women Activists from Westphalia in the Early Women's Movement
Through the stories of nine key figures, the exhibition pays tribute to the social commitment of women who, first in the German Empire and later in the Weimar Republic, played a leading role in championing womenâs rights from a wide variety of sectors of society, within both Jewish and non-Jewish organisations.Â
The exhibition runs from 23 June to 2 September 2026 in the main building of Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences (HSBI)
