Exchange accounts are usually configured on Android via "Settings > Accounts > Add account > Exchange ActiveSync". The interfaces may differ in appearance and terminology depending on the Android version and device type.

Open settings.

Select Manage accounts.

Here the menus and terms often differ between Android versions. Please look for similar menus to accounts if it does not look like this guide.

Select Add account.

Use Exchange.

Enter the following information.

E-mail address:
-> personal university e-mail address.

Password:
-> BITS password for personal email address.

Domain\username:
-> personal university e-mail address

Server:
-> mail.uni-bielefeld.de

Port:
-> 443

Security type:
-> SSL/TLS

Then confirm with Next.

 

The account is now set up.

The calendar has also been set up and is available in the Calendar app.

Click Done to finish the department.
