Call

1. about PEVZ entries

Search for a name in the "Search or call" field. The entries from the PEVZ are searched and displayed.

Move the mouse pointer to the person you are looking for and click on the green handset icon to start a call.

1. via phone number

Click on the choice field icon.

Enter the desired telephone number. Either via the keypad or the displayed dial field. Then click on the green handset icon .

Calls to external:
For external phone numbers, a 0 must be prefixed to the actual area code, e.g. 0 0521 123456789

The call is now established and can be ended again via the red X.

Calling via Access bar

The access bar can be displayed and is always placed in the foreground on the screen.

Click on the Jabber icon to extend the bar.

Calls can be started quickly here by entering a name. The entries from the PEVZ are searched and displayed.

Alternatively, a phone number can be entered.

Accept call

1.

An incoming call is displayed as a window at the bottom right in addition to an audible ring. Here you have to click on Answer to accept the call.

The actual call window opens. The call can be ended again via the X.

Set up forwarding

1.

In the Jabber client, click on the small green icon at the bottom and then go to Forward Calls.

Here you have the option of forwarding to voicemail (answering machine) or to another phone number. To do this, click on "New number...".

Enter the phone number here and go to Forward.

For university numbers, the 4-6 digit internal number is sufficient.

Note Forwarding to external:
A leading 0 must be entered (e.g. 0017512345678910).

In Jabber, the acute redirection is displayed visually.
