In 2011, the executives together with the employees of the Bielefeld IT Service Centre (BITS) developed a mission statement based on the ICT (Information and Communication) strategy of Bielefeld University. This forms the framework for our thoughts and actions in our daily work and describes the strategic orientation of BITS.
In 2020, the vision was re-evaluated as part of the BITS 2025 project and updated accordingly.
