Application for a higher semester | |
Applications to be placed into a higher semester are to be submitted to the responsible faculty by August 15th (subjects with NC)/ by October 15th (subjects without NC). If the desired subject is also without NC in the 1st subject related semester, the application to be placed into a higher semester can be made up for at any time. More info |

Formal application is also always required for programmes without admission-restriction. In the case of single-subject Bachelor's programmes with open admissions or combined Bachelor's programmes with fully open admissions, you will automatically be transferred to online enrolment after you have applied. In the case of Master's degree programmes with open admissions, you can only enrol after successfully passing the access examination.
For programmes with restricted admission, the respective enrolment period will be communicated to you separately by email in the notification of admission.

Please submit your application after you have received your school leaving certificate. You will only officially obtain your higher education entrance qualification (HZB) when you receive your school leaving certificate. There are no disadvantages if you apply later, as the date of receipt of your application is not relevant for the allocation of places. Only the application deadlines are relevant in this case.
