Usage of the internet via Wireless LAN for guests at Bielefeld University.

Getting connected

• Activate your Wireless LAN card
• Get connected with the network (SSID) guest

Authentification

• Start your web browser.
• The website to log in will be shown.
• Use your Username and Password to log in.
• If everything went right, you are connected to the internet:
  Verbindung hergestellt / Connection established

Sicherheit

Important:
This guest WiFi is unencrypted!!

If you would like to encrypt your data, please use the appropriate procedure (e. g. VPN software while getting connected to your company/university, SSL connections for E-Mail, ...).
