Did you know that the new lecture hall building Y opened in September 2021? It offers a lecture hall with daylight and three seminar rooms for a total of 800 students. The building features a wooden supporting structure from sustainable forestry. Heating and cooling are mainly provided by a heat pump, which is largely supplied by a photovoltaic system located on the roof. Other building features include a north-facing orientation and the use of an on-demand ventilation system with heat recovery. Digital building information controllers also control up to 28,000 m³ of air per hour in the large lecture hall.
