"How to click" Support

You can find explanations on how to use the system on the corresponding page in the electronic course catalogue (ekvv) via the "Open support" link in the side menu.

Module or partial module examinations can be entered separately for individual students or for a larger number of students at the same time using an import function from a prepared table (e.g. Excel). You do not have to (and cannot) specify the module for which this academic achievement is used; this assignment is made automatically in the BIS examination management system and can be corrected by the students themselves in the transcript as part of the subject assignments in the electronic course catalogue (ekvv).

In any case, only those types of coursework can be reported that are provided for in the subject assignments and module guide. The subject assignments can be found in the details view of the course in the eKVV, where the relevant module guide is also linked, in which you will find information on the academic achievements to be completed.

Record academic achievements

The starting point for recording individual achievements is always the "Achievement list", which can be accessed from the "My courses" page.

The achievement list includes all students on the participation list and provides an overview of academic achievements that have already been recorded as well as the ability to record new achievements for each student. When academic achievements are entered, drafts are created that can be sent individually or collectively to the relevant examination office. As soon as the academic achievements have been accepted there, they are displayed to the students in their transcripts.

Import academic achievements

In addition to recording individual academic achievements per student as described above, you can also import a large number of examinations into the electronic course catalogue (ekvv) at once. The prerequisite is that the academic achievements to be reported are the same type of achievement for all students and that a list (preferably in Excel) has been created in preparation. Information on the format and the order of the columns can be found in the context help in the electronic course catalogue (ekvv) or directly on the import page.

This function was developed for recording exam results, where academic achievements usually have to be entered into the electronic course catalogue (ekvv) for a large number of people. However, it can also be used for any other type of service.

In courses that require academic achievements for the state exam(ination) in Law, there is a separate import that is tailored to the special format of this degree programme. A detailed explanation of this "ReWi import" can be found on the corresponding support page: "Academic achievements outside BA/MA"

Notes on reporting academic achievements in the individual subsidiary subjects

The individual subsidiary subjects are part of the Bachelor's or Master's degree programme, which can be designed relatively freely by the students and serve to enable them to deal with content beyond the boundaries of their own subject area. In the bachelor's course, the individual subsidiary subjects comprise 30 CP, whereby 20 CP must generally be completed in modules. The remaining 10 CP are "free"; individual study requirements / credits or module (partial) examinations, i.e. individual elements of modules, can also be included here.

No special regulations apply to the completion of all academic achievements because they are studied for the individual subsidiary subjects; instead, the regulations of the module descriptions must be observed. More detailed information on the structure of the individual subsidiary subjects and selectable modules can be found in the explanatory notes to the framework examination regulations: "Explanation of the individual subsidiary subjects".

This has the following consequences for the recording of academic achievements:

  • It is relatively likely that "non-subject" students will attend courses and wish to complete academic achievements for their individual subsidiary subjects.
  • They can complete any academic achievements for which there is (any) subject opening in the course, i.e. any type of achievement that can be selected for booking.
  • Students should note that they must complete entire modules in order to fulfil the 20 LP. The remaining 10 CPs are a special case, where students are more or less free to decide how they use them.
