Monday, 27.01.25 at 8 pm, Rudolf-Oetker-Halle, Small Hall (Kleiner Saal)

The collection with this title can be seen as a basic component of US-American culture. Cornelie Isenbürger, Frank Dolphin Wong and Anahit Ter-Tatshatyan devote themselves in particular to the early (musical) hits of the songbook by George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Kurt Weill and others.

    Data Ghost

    Exhibition, until 31.01.25, ZiF

"Data Ghosts" is a single-channel video developed during Erica Shires' fellowship at ZiF. It incorporates images taken with a microscope, alternative photography techniques, 3D LiDAR scans and generative AI. This interplay of art, technology and science is used to explore parallels between the history of photography and the visual language shaped by our rapidly evolving new technologies.

The exhibition can be visited free of charge during the opening hours of the ZiF:
    Mon - Thu: 9:00-15:30
    Fri: 9:00-14:00

Exhibition: Elmgreen & Dragset | Who we are. miteinander gegenüber #12

Exhibition from 30.11.24 to 23.02.25 at the Kunsthalle Bielefeld

The twelfth edition of the series "facing each other" focuses on the central question of the different characteristics, faces and attitudes that characterise a person or an institution such as the Kunsthalle. In this juxtaposition, a work by the Scandinavian artist duo Elmgreen & Dragset (Michael Elmgreen, *1961 and Ingar Dragset, *1969) from the Haubrok Collection meets several works from the Kunsthalle Bielefeld's current collection exhibition. Who are we? What characterises us or something? How do we recognise the specific characteristics of a person or an institution like the Kunsthalle?
