Under the title Scenery and Objects, Dirk Topel (*1960 in Bielefeld) shows photographic reductions of motifs from the greater Bielefeld area. With the help of an image processing programme, he removed all non-essential image content, creating new works with their own character.
The exhibition can be seen from 8 January to 12 February 2026 at BITS SPACE. Vernissage is on 8 January 2026 at 6 pm.
Our colleague Janice Jensen, who created our posters and programme booklets and managed our social media channels for six years, is exhibiting parts of her work at the ALTE LEDERFABRIK gallery in Halle. Her work moves between painting, drawing and video and focusses on the depiction of landscapes and the fragmentation of realities. A warm invitation to the vernissage!
Ausstellungszeitraum: 30.11.2025-29.03.2026
Vernissage on 30.11.2025, 5 pm
Weitere InformationenThe Mobile Theatre is performing a comedy by Florian Zeller.
Vincent has been cheating on his wife Sophie with Alice, the wife of his best friend Paul, for six months. Alice is fed up with the constant lying and threatens to confess everything to Paul. But Vincent pleads in favour of lying - out of consideration for Paul, who would be hurt by the truth. From this starting point, the two couples systematically comb through the entire web of lies and deceit: everyone is bamboozling everyone else, or at least is capable of doing so. Everyone is lying - or maybe not? Who is telling the truth?
Premiere: 31.12.25, 8 pm. Further performances (each at 8pm): 3, 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24, 30, 31 January, 6, 7, 13, 14 February. Special performance on 25.01.26 at 4 pm. Tickets via 0521/16 40 638 or online via bielefeld.jetzt and YesTicket.
